Reading
-
What sports do we play in Spain?
-
Do you know sports that people play in the United Kingdom?
Reading exercise: Each student must read one text about the British sports that Queen Elizabeth II, The Guard, Mister Clock or Paddington can play.
Each student must guess which sport the character they have read plays and answer when in a timetable and where the character plays it in a map.

Students must ask questions to their group peers to know what sport each character plays, when in the timetable and where in a map.
Writing
Video: What sports does Queen Elizabeth II do and when does she does them?
Writing exercises:
With the information from the rest of the group, each student must write a letter to Queen Elizabeth about the sport each person does, the material, the place, how many days and the sport the person wants to do.
When they finish writing about themselves and they must write about another peer, they must wait until the rest of the students have finished to turn the cooperative template.
Promotion of reading + Education in values
Whole class reads the book “Paddington goes gold” written by Michael Bond and answers some comprehension questions.
-
What is the story about?
-
What happened to Paddington?
-
What is the moral of the story?
Moral: Winning isn’t everything. Taking part and doing your best is what matters the most.

Activity: Students must choose which things go in which group (you do and don't do when you lose). Then, students write the things to do when we lose.
Project
Problem: Queen Elizabeth II wants to know what sport is the most practise in class and what sport everyone wants to do.

Students in groups must ask their partners what sport they do, and what sport they want to do. In the group, in pairs they ask between them.
Then, each person in each group must ask one person of each one of the other groups.

Each group will come together and tell how many people practise each sport and how many people want to do each sport. With that information, they will know which sport is the most practise and which sport everyone wants to do.
